Improved Opening Hours - Antrim Forum

To improve our services we use customer feedback and in the last edition of Borough Life our leisure survey resulted in 1288 respondents telling us what they thought about the opening hours for the Antrim Forum and Ballyearl.

The results told us that 55% would prefer the Forum to open earlier on weekdays and 87% would prefer an earlier opening on a Sunday.

The opening hours for Ballyearl will remain unchanged, because the survey results indicated 75% had no preference for earlier opening times.

Consultation will start soon with the staff and Trade Unions about the following opening hours:

  • 6.15am on weekday mornings (currently 7.15am)
  • 9am – 5.30pm on Sundays (currently 2-5.30pm)

A date has not been confirmed for the new opening hours.  Work is underway to prepare for the commencement of the new improved opening hours and a start date will be confirmed in due course.
