I am an existing member, can I switch over to a Family Membership?
Yes - if you currently have a direct debit membership with us, you can upgrade your subscription to a family membership. Please telephone 028 9448 1499 and a member of staff will advise you when you can pre-register. We will need the details of everyone in your household that you wish to add to the membership, along with proof of their age and residence.
Who can join a Family Membership?
Two adults and unlimited children (up to 18 years of age). Please note that all members under the one family membership must live in the same household. Proof of residence must be provided when signing up for the membership.
Do the two adults have to be married?
No., the two adults can be siblings, friends, or anyone over 18, as long as they live at the same address.
We have four adults over 18 in our house, can we take out two Family Memberships?
Yes there is no problem taking out two family memberships for the one household.
I am paying a single membership by direct debit, will it be changed over?
Yes, all of our members will be receiving a letter in the middle of September to confirm their new monthly direct debit amount. All current direct debits will automatically be switched over to the new membership rates for the direct debit collection on Monday 2 October.
What about a 16 or 17 year old; will they change over to the new £16 per month rate for October?
Yes, we will also be sending letters to our 16-17 year old members to make them aware of any changes to their direct debit.
I think that I might qualify for a concession membership, will you change it for me?
We will not do this automatically. If you think you qualify for the concession family membership, please contact one of our leisure centres and someone will be happy to help you.
Please note you will need to provide proof of your concession when you join and also on a regular basis. We will let you know when your concession evidence is due for renewal.
I am not a member at the moment, when can I join up?
The new membership packages do not start until Monday 2 October. If you would like to arrange an appointment with one of our team please T. 028 9448 1499 and we will book you in with a member of staff. You will also be able to join online nearer the time.
Can I start before Monday 2 October?
You can pay a pro rata amount for out current membership packages, however the new membership prices will not 'go live' until Monday 2 October.
