Always wanted to start running but don’t know where to start? Our Couch to 5K programmes could help you achieve your goal.
Couch to 5K is a programme aimed at getting non-runners from their couch to running 5km in just a few months.
Taking place twice a week, the sessions are facilitated by fully qualified coaches, who provide participants with support, motivation and tailored plans to improve their ability to run.

Do I Need To Be Fit Or Of A Certain Age?
No! All fitness levels are welcome and participants must be aged 16 or over!
What Should I Wear And What Should I Bring?
Wear suitable outdoor running clothing and bring a water bottle.
Where Do I Go To?
Meet at reception at all locations (Valley Leisure Centre reception for V36) on the first night.
What Happens If It Rains?
This is an outdoor programme and will take place regardless of weather
