WICKED Walks

Come be guided through one of our historical buildings and hear about the ghostly goings on of yester year. A sensory experience will entertain and enthral as your guide reveals the dark side of our heritage with mirth, wit and a feast of unknown facts! Only for those who dare step back in time during the spookiest time of year!

Age: 14yrs+

Please wear appropriate footwear and dress appropriately for all weather conditions. Please be at meeting point 10 mins before your tour start time.

Halloween Spooktacular

Dust off your broomsticks and join us if you dare for our annual Halloween Spooktacular, in partnership with The Junction. This year’s theme is Day of the Dead and your little ghosts, goblins and ghouls are invited to come along in
their scariest costumes. Join Stephen, Cate and the Q Radio roadshow to see who picks up the bag full of tricks and
treats for the best dressed. We will also have fire jugglers, face painting, arts & crafts and spooky characters to keep
everyone entertained.

The celebrations reach a crescendo around 8pm, with a spectacular fireworks extravaganza.*

Car parking, including accessible parking for blue badge holders, is available at The Junction. For adults and children with specific needs at the Spooktacular, there will be a Mobiloo, sign language provision, quiet space and an accessible viewing point in front of stage.

Additional car parking is available at Antrim Civic Centre, Dunsilly Park & Ride and Antrim Town Centre.  A free shuttle bus will operate from Market Square & Dunsilly Park & Ride only, at regular intervals and after the fireworks.  Access to the event is by Ballymena Road Entrance only.

*Sensory Sunday

This is suitable for children and young adults with specific needs who require a more relaxed environment. During this time the funfair music will be turned off, lights will be static and the speed of the rides will be slowed down. Access to this session will be by wristband to ensure the funfair remains relaxed. Wristbands cost £10 and can be prepaid in advance at the Ferris Wheel booth (see opening times above) and collected from the prepaid entrance at the Sensory Sunday session. They can also be purchased at the funfair on the day. Carers will be permitted complimentary access.

Harvest Themed Portrait Heads

In this hands-on workshop, children can make their very own Harvest themed collage to take home (inspired by master artist Arcimboldo's 'Autumn'). With the help of tutor Kim Montgomery, young creative
minds can create their own masterpiece by drawing, cutting and sticking to make a harvest inspired portrait head collage!

Spooked Out at V36

Dust the cobwebs off your favourite fancy dress outfit and join us and Cool FM’s Rebecca McKinney for spooky fun
and frolics for all the family. Join in the Halloween games and enter the fancy dress competition to win prizes galore.
We will also have face painting, bouncy castles and spooky characters to keep everyone entertained. Spooked Out will
come to an end with a fangtastic fireworks display* at 8pm.

Access to V36 on foot will be by the main entrance opposite KFC on Church Road or from Valley Leisure Centre’s car park along the footpath by the duck pond.

Car Parking:
Valley Leisure Centre car park will be open for public car parking. Blue Badge holders will be able to park at V36 Car Park (entrance opposite KFC).
