Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council proudly welcomed over 250 young women from secondary, integrated and special education schools to Theatre at The Mill on Friday 8 March, to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Antrim and Newtownabbey Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP), has launched its Domestic Abuse awareness raising campaign, ‘Domestic Abuse – It’s Never OK’. The campaign, now in its fourth year, will run from Monday 26 February through to Sunday 24 March.
Muckamore Parish Development Association (MPDA) became the first voluntary group in the Borough to receive the King’s Award for Voluntary Service. The group received “the MBE for Volunteer Groups” from the Lord-Lieutenant of County Antrim, Mr David McCorkell KStJ at a special event held by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council in The Old Courthouse, Antrim on 1 March 2024.
