Anna continues, “Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council is committed to the continued development of sport and physical activity throughout the Borough. Engaging our young people in physical activity at a grass roots level is vitally important and the Primary Schools Challenge is just one of the many ways of helping achieve the Council’s aim of ‘making more people, more active, more often.”
The top six placed schools were invited to attend the Primary Schools Challenge Awards Ceremony which was held at the Antrim Civic Centre, where the winning team was announced.
