The Mayor of Antrim & Newtownabbey, Councillor Thomas Hogg, teamed up with mini James Huish, Charlie O’Kane, to launch this year’s Shoreline Festival!  Saturday 29 August will see the King of Swing, James Huish, fill the park from 8pm with all the rat pack favourites, finishing with a fireworks display.

The annual festival, organised by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, will take place over the bank holiday weekend from Saturday 29 to Monday 31 August at Loughshore Park, Jordanstown.  Come along and enjoy free family fun and music performances each day from 1-6pm.  Activities over the three days will include bouncy castles, kid’s characters and arts and crafts, while a variety of live music will transform the park into a concert venue each night.

On Sunday 30 August, tribute legend Flash Harry will take to the stage to rock the Loughshore to the magic of Queen.  Classics in the Park with NI Opera will provide an operatic end to the festival on Monday 31 August from 7:30pm and picnics and chairs are a must for this ever popular event.

Please note that glass bottles are not permitted at any of the concerts.

Amusements will be at the park from Thursday 27th – Monday 31st, with a special promotion night on Friday 28th.  With the exception of the amusement rides, all events and activities are absolutely FREE!  So be sure not to miss out on fantastic and affordable days out for all the family before school starts back and make your way down to the Shoreline Festival!
