The fantastic fireworks finale lighting up the Peace Gate at V36.
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council hosted an evening of freaky fun for all on Saturday night, as crowds of ghosts and ghouls, villains and vampires, witches and wizards gathered for the first ever Spooked Out at V36.
The Halloween festivities kicked off at 6pm with the Cool FM Roadshow, followed by lots of family fun and frolics! All the fun of the fair was there as well as the ghoulish ghost train! Many prizes were up for grabs, as the Deputy Mayor, Councillor John Blair judged the best fancy dress.
Deputy Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor John Blair commented, ‘I am delighted with the fantastic turn out to our first major event at V36. Everyone has made such an effort with their fancy dress, and it is great to see everyone enjoying this fantastic new facility.’
The eventful evening came to a close at 8pm when the night sky was lit up with a fabulous fireworks finale. Spooked Out at V36 is the first major event at this venue with many more to come!
