Juniors Tee Off For Masters Titles

It was ‘game on’ at Ballyearl Golf Fitness Arts when 18  children and young people teed off  in the recent Junior and Mini Masters 2015 golf competition.

Joel McKimm, who played over nine holes, came out on top for the second year running in the Mini Masters, while the boys’ Junior Masters, an 18-hole competition, was won by Tom McKibben. The female Junior Masters title was once again taken by Olivia Snoddy.

Deputy Mayor, Councillor John Blair, presented the prizes to the winners this week and commented: “Golf is a fun and competitive sport to get involved in and it was great to see so many young people competing for the titles. I would like to commend the effort of all those who took part in the event and congratulate the winners on their brilliant play.”
