Get into Glengormley for Culture and Carnival

The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Thomas Hogg teamed up Kathy Wolff of the Community Relations Forum and community representatives to launch this year’s Culture Night which take place in Glengormley on Friday 11 September. Don’t miss a great night of culture and carnival at the town’s second Culture Night taking place from 4 –10pm. The colourful event is funded by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council and jointly organised by the Community Relations Forum and Glengormley Chamber & Traders’ Association.
A wide range of activities are planned for the town centre and Lillian Bland Community Park, where family fun starts from 4-10pm. There will also be music and dance performances, street entertainment and lots more.
The highlight of the night will be the Carnival Parade which starts at 8pm at Lilian Bland Community Park, with community groups, schools and dance groups taking part.
