With the feel of autumn well and truly in the air it’s time to dust off your broomsticks and join us this Halloween, for a petrifying programme of events organised by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council.

The festivities kick off with An Evening of Irish Horror in the Old Courthouse, Antrim on 19 October at 7:30pm.  Wireless Mystery Theatre will get you in the mood for Halloween with two classic Irish spooky ghost stories reanimated in the darkness, with live music. Tickets are £8/£6 concession and suitable for 12+. To book T: 028 9446 3113 or visit www.antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk/boxoffice

Join us if you dare to celebrate our tenth Halloween Spooktacular at Junction One on Thursday 29th October from 6-8pm.   The ghoulish goings on, including the Cool FM roadshow, will end with a fangtastic fireworks display. This event is jointly organised by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council and Junction One International Outlet Centre.

Have a fright of a night at Spooked Out at V36 on Saturday 31st October from 6-8pm. All ghosts and ghouls, villains and vampires, witches and wizards are welcome to join in the freaky fun which is free to all! This will be the first major event at V36 at the Valley since the official opening in September, so be prepared for a spine-tingling scare fest!

Deputy Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor John Blair commented;

“Don’t miss the wide range of Halloween events running across the Borough this October.  The extensive programme has something for everyone and  sure to keep families busy over the mid-term break.”
