Businesses in the North East are encouraged to focus on how to make online marketing work for their business at a Digital Marketing Masterclass to be held in Antrim on Thursday 16th April as part of the Business Advancement Programme.
This intensive one day masterclass to be held at Clotworthy House at Antrim Castle Gardens will cover digital marketing strategy and SEO strategies that really work to ensure that your business is seen online. The event is a must for anyone interested in growing their business online and everything you will learn is practical and can be applied to your business immediately.
The event is hosted through the Business Advancement Programme and is part funded by Invest Northern Ireland and the European Regional Development Fund under the Sustainable Competitiveness Programme for Northern Ireland. Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council are leading on the programme on behalf of the Councils in the North East through their Economic Development Support Programme, Boosting Business Together.
The Business Advancement Programme provides mentoring support for small businesses, assisting them to implement innovative solutions which can aid growth and development. The Digital Masterclass is the second in a series of group workshops focused on innovation.
The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Thomas Hogg, said “We are delighted to see the range of small businesses from the Borough and across the North East utilising the support under the Business Advancement Programme to grow and improve their business performance. Programmes such as this provide practical support which can really boost business performance and contribute towards an improved economy.”

By providing access to online marketing professionals, these workshops will give businesses access to expertise to help them better understand what effective digital marketing can deliver for their business and how it can be used to communicate their messages and therefore drive results.”
The Digital Strategy workshop will be delivered by Naomh McElhatton, founder and Managing Director of RUA Digital, and the SEO workshop will be delivered by Barry Adams from Polemic Digital, an expert in SEO working with a number of leading businesses as well as a wide range of smaller businesses.
