The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Thomas Hogg, paid a visit to the Cloughfern Boots store recently to discuss their economic plans for supporting the local community.
Boots has been operating in Northern Ireland for almost fifty years and within the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council area, there are five stores employing sixty nine people.
He commented: “Boots are proud to be an integral part of the local community as they make a difference to the health and wellbeing of others every day. I was interested to hear the methods they are implementing to ensure they adapt rapidly to the new and challenging shopping environments.”
