Antrim Areas At Risk Programme Public Consultation
11 May 2015
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council has agreed to fund a pilot ‘Areas At Risk’ Programme, initially for 2015/2016, which will enable the delivery of eligible community based projects in the Super Output Areas (SOAs) of Farranshane, Ballycraigy and Steeple.
The Programme will seek to increase community cohesion and capacity, strengthen community infrastructure and achieve a more sustainable approach to community participation and development.
As part of the consultation and the production of an Action Plan to identify a range of projects that may be funded, a Public Meeting is to be held in the Winstone Suite, Antrim Civic Centre on Tuesday 19th May 2015 from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.
This will give local residents an opportunity to put forward their views on the priority issues affecting their communities.
All residents of Farranshane (Rathenraw), Steeple and Ballycraigy are welcome to attend.
