Family and friends packed Muckamore Community Centre last Wednesday night to enjoy the delights of the Altitude Dance Company end of year show.

The 120 strong audience was treated to an hour long showcase of dance routines and music. The groups, consisting of 4-14 year olds, provided show stopping acts that highlighted the skills of the young dancing pupils.

Claire Mullan, Active Communities Dance Coach comments, “This showcase was a fantastic opportunity for families and friends to see for themselves the ability and talent the children have developed throughout their year at Altitude Dance. A lot of time goes into learning the various routines, but the hard work paid off with flawless performances. Dancing requires extended movement ranges, good coordination and the ability to work as a team – all of which our pupils have mastered. Watch out Strictly Come Dancing, Antrim and Newtownabbey has stars in the making!”
