Glengormley Business Awards

The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Paul Hamill launched this year’s Glengormley Business Awards with Joanne Mahood, President of the Glengormley Chamber and Traders’ Association and Councillor Michael Maguire.
The search is on for the best of Glengormley’s businesses, as preparations for the Glengormley Business Awards get underway.
The awards, organised by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council in association with Glengormley Chamber and Traders’ Association, will see local businesses compete for one of the following categories:
- Best New Business Award (business to be established after January 2016)
- Best Kept Shopfront
- Professional Services Sector Award
- Customer Service Award
- Best Food & Drink Award
- Best Takeaway Award
- Salon of the Year
- Making a Difference Award
- Best Independent Retailer Award
- Best Multiple Retailer Award
These awards, which are free to enter, are open to all businesses in Glengormley and are a great way to recognise those businesses that serve Glengormley and take pride in their products, services and employees.
The awards will be decided by public vote which will be open from Friday 23 February until 9am on Monday 12 March, so make sure you click www.antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk/businessawards to register your vote!
