Borough Life hits the doorsteps!

06 August 2018

The next issue of Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council’s residents’ magazine ‘Borough Life’ is due to hit the doorsteps this week. Look out for our magazine which helps to keep our residents up to date with life in the Borough as well as the programmes and events that are coming soon.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Paul Michael comments, “As the Summer time begins to come to an end and we start to think of ‘back to school’ season, we have lots of arts and culture courses and workshops taking place for all the family. Why not have a read through the CREATE brochure which is included inside and try out something new this autumn?”

Councillor Michael continues; “Following the success of our first ever Jobs Fair, we have brought you information on our new Facebook page which promotes lots of job opportunities throughout the Borough. If you have young children, then make sure you check out the Birthday Party feature for information on the variety of parties on offer across our facilities.”

Each edition of Borough Life will now include a dedicated ‘Age Friendly’ section which will include information on the services and activities available for our older residents within the Borough.

The magazine will be delivered to households and businesses across the Borough. If you haven’t received a copy by Monday 13 August, or for further information on receiving the magazine in a different format, please contact the Council’s Communications Team on T. 028 9034 0034. The digital version of the magazine is also available at www.antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk/boroughlife
