Struggling with poor Broadband connection in Rural Areas?
10 April 2017
For local residents and business premises, in rural areas where broadband speed is less than 2Mbps with no immediate plans for fibre connectivity, the Government ‘Better Broadband Scheme’ may be of interest.
Funded by the UK Government, Avonline Broadband are supporting a satellite broadband offer from just £14.99 per month. See the attachment for further details and to see if you are eligible.
Please note that this is not a Council initiative, and Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council will not be liable for any contractual agreements entered into by individuals or businesses.
The Government-funded scheme covers all upfront costs including hardware, installation and activation. This will enable local residents to access broadband download speeds of up 30Mbps and upload speeds of up to 6Mbps. These speeds are achieved through satellite and wireless technology to deliver a service not currently available in some areas, due to a lack of a fibre connection.
If you are interested in finding out more about the scheme, please contact Avonline on 0303 303 3131 or visit www.avonlinebroadband.com for further details and to register for the scheme.
