Forklift Truck and Mechanical Handling Safety Awareness
13 April 2017
Are you an employer in the Antrim and Newtownabbey area, who operates forklift trucks, order pickers, industrial trucks and other types of mechanical handling equipment? If so, then take note of a valuable learning opportunity which is being offered on Thursday 25 May from 9:30am to 1pm at Mossley Mill.
For a small charge of £15 which will include a light lunch, you will hear from a range of speakers, including a Principal Environmental Health Officer, the Chief Executive of the Forklift Truck Association, an Inspector from the Health and Safety Executive Northern Ireland and a representative from RANDOX testing services. You will also gain the perspective from local businesses and hear from a survivor of a serious forklift truck accident. This seminar aims to reinforce awareness about the dangers associated with forklift trucks and mechanical handling equipment, providing practical and helpful advice on what you, as an employer can do to improve safety in your workplace and reduce the likelihood of an accident.
