Everybody Active Small Grants Programme

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, in partnership with Sport Northern Ireland, is pleased to announce that the Everybody Active Small Grants Programme will open for applications on 1 September 2017 and close at the end of February 2018.
Council will consider up to 100% funding of total eligible costs up to a maximum of £1,000 for physical activity projects that aim to address outcomes of the Council’s Corporate Plan: Our citizens enjoy good health and wellbeing; Our citizens live in connected safe, clean vibrant places; Our citizens achieve their full potential.
Priority will be given to projects which aim to increase participation in physical activity among traditionally underrepresented groups including; women and girls; people with a disability and those living in areas of greatest social need, however all eligible groups are welcome to apply. All applications must be submitted online at www.antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk/Grants
All interested and eligible community/voluntary organisations, including sports clubs and parent/teacher associations, are invited to attend information sessions. The sessions will be taking place in Mossley Mill on Tuesday 29 August at 7.30pm and in Antrim Civic Centre on Wednesday 30 August at 7.30pm. These sessions will provide further detail on guidance notes and how to make an application online.
