Those eligible to attend include volunteers from a range of community/voluntary groups who are involved in community work within the Borough. Applicants who have not taken part in any capacity building training before will be given priority, but all volunteers from groups from within the Borough can apply and will be considered. Places are restricted to 2 volunteers per community group/organisation and all applicants must be over 16 years of age.
Each course costs £5 per person and payment must be made in advance of course commencement, to secure registration. All payments are non-refundable.
As part of the programme there will also be an Evening with the Lottery Funders to be held in January 2018 where representatives from both the Big Lottery and the Heritage Lottery will be in attendance to provide information on their current funding programmes.
