A Welcome Reception at Ballyearl Arts & Leisure Centre

Ballyearl Arts & Leisure Centre reception has witnessed a complete transformation over the past few months and to mark its renovation it was officially opened on 30 May 2017 by the Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor John Scott.
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council are committed to the continuing development of sport and leisure within the Borough. Over the past few years this centre has benefited from an extensive programme of continued investment. Ballyearl now features a newly refurbished, fully equipped gym, an excellent driving range and 9-hole golf course and with the creation of dance studio space plays hosts to various activities and programmes to keep us all fit, healthy and in shape.
This centre is in the unique position of having a superb theatre on-site which is widely used by the community both to host classes, events and as a base for shows for everyone to enjoy.
The Mayor, Councillor John Scott commented “the transformation of the reception has been tremendous. The space which has been created is light, airy and very welcoming and creates a fabulous first impression for the rest of the excellent facilities on-site. I would like to wish Ballyearl Arts & Leisure Centre every success for the future and hope that the staff and the local community enjoy using this ever improving facility for many years to come”.
