Peace IV Partnership & Programme Workshops

The Peace IV Programme, funded by the Special EU Programmes Body, is a unique initiative of the European Union which has been designed to support peace and reconciliation in Northern Ireland and the Border Region of Ireland. To date, there has been extensive engagement across the Borough to establish key priorities that the programme could address.
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council would now like to offer you the opportunity to have your input into the project design process for programme delivery across the Borough. You can do this by attending the workshops taking place in Antrim Civic Centre and Mossley Mill: -
Final Design Workshop (Development of programme ideas)

Public Meeting (Presentation of Peace IV Action Plan)

The Council is also forming a partnership for delivery of the PEACE IV Programme. The partnership will oversee delivery of the PEACE IV Action Plan which is a European Union funded initiative to help support peace and reconciliation in Northern Ireland and the Border Region of Ireland.
Applications for social partners are now invited from nominees within the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council area. Social partners must demonstrate an understanding of peace and reconciliation issues facing the Borough. You can complete the application online by visiting
