Jordanstown School Steals the Show!

23 March 2016

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council welcomed pupils from Jordanstown School last night for their annual show. The ‘All Performance Musical’ which took place in Theatre at the Mill, showcased the amazing enthusiasm and talent of the pupils at the school.  The performance also marked the retirement of Mrs Anne Magee who has worked at the school for just under forty years, with the past ten as principal.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey commented, “Each and every one of the pupils put on a fantastic show. It was evident that the staff and pupils at the school, as well as the technical team had put a lot of work in to the performance. I would also like to take this opportunity to wish Mrs Magee a long, healthy and happy retirement.”

Jordanstown School has offered specialist education for over 150 years to young people aged 4-19 who are deaf or visually impaired.
