Explore the Outdoors this Summer

Do your kids enjoy the outdoors? Why not sign them up for one of the Biodiversity Summer Schools taking place throughout the Borough this summer.
Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor John Scott explains more; “These fun-filled family summer schools are packed with outdoor activities for kids to explore and discover trees, mini-beasts, river life and much more. The aim is to inspire and encourage people to discover more about the incredible species and habitats on our doorsteps”.
The summer schools will take place from 10am – 12pm on the following dates:
Thursday 21 – Friday 22 July, Canal Walk, Toomebridge
Monday 22 – Wednesday 24 August, Crumlin Glen
Thursday 25 – Friday 26 August, River Maine, Randalstown
Cost for the programme is £5 per child per venue and children must be accompanied by an adult.
