Circuit of Ireland Races into Antrim Castle Gardens

04 April 2016

On Thursday 7 April the restored 17th Century formal gardens and parklands at Antrim Castle Gardens will be the majestic setting for the ceremonial start of the 2016 Circuit of Ireland, with cars over the start ramp from 12.30pm.

Join us for free family entertainment from 11am until 2pm to make sure young and old are catered for at this exciting event.  Everyone’s favourite Italian racing drivers, Mario and Luigi, will be revving around the Castle Gardens and you will be able to race them in a game of Mario Kart on the Nintendo Wii.  Budding artists will be able to create their own flag to wave at the Circuit of Ireland drivers and wannabe car mechanics will be able to build their own Lego car and race it on a wooden track.

Make sure you race down to watch the ceremonial start of this prestigious event before the drivers head off to their stage in Tardree Forest.  For further information about the rally event please visit www.antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk or www.circuitofireland.net
