Borough Life due to Doorstep this Week!

16 May 2016

Borough Life, the residents’ magazine for Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council is due to hit doorsteps this week. Borough Life is a great way of keeping up to date with the current projects and news stories from across Antrim and Newtownabbey. This issue contains a summer supplement with something for everyone including theatre shows, summer schemes and much more!

Antrim and Newtownabbey celebrated their first anniversary on 1 April and this issue highlights the many milestones and successes achieved along the way. The ‘Active Life’ pull out will give readers an update on the Allen Park work that is near completion, as well as the fantastic leisure programmes on offer, sure to give you a healthier and active lifestyle.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Thomas Hogg commented, “I am delighted to present the third issue of Borough Life.  Borough Life keeps our residents up to speed with ‘life’ in Antrim and Newtownabbey including the latest on waste and recycling as well as the major events coming to our Borough. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage residents to complete the survey at the back of this issue, to have their say on our leisure centre opening times.”

Borough Life will be published six times per year and will be delivered to households and businesses across the Borough. If you haven’t received a copy by Monday 30 May, or for further information on receiving the magazine in a different format, please contact the Council’s Communications and PR team on 028 9034 0027. The magazine is also available at www.antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk/boroughlife

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Thomas Hogg is joined by local children Evan Mayes and Layla-Beau McKeever to promote the May edition of Borough Life.
