Borough Life due to Doorstep this Week!
14 March 2016
Borough Life, the residents’ magazine for Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council is due to hit doorsteps this week. Borough Life is a great way of keeping up to date with the current projects and news stories from across Antrim and Newtownabbey. This issue contains the egg-citing Easter activities planned across the Borough as well as the fantastic events coming up over the next lot of months including Circuit of Ireland Rally, Armed Forces Day, Garden Show Ireland and much more!
Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Thomas Hogg commented, “I am delighted to present the second issue of Borough Life. Borough Life keeps our residents up to speed with ‘life’ in Antrim and Newtownabbey including the latest on community planning as well as the major events coming to our Borough over the next lot of months. I would also like to take this opportunity to encourage residents to complete the parks and open spaces survey at the back of this issue, to have their say on how we can make our Borough a better place.”
Council are pleased to have awarded the print contract of this issue to local company, W&G Baird who have recently invested in £4 million of printing and finishing equipment. Borough Life will be published six times per year, with an ‘Active Life’ pull out inside, containing information on what’s on in our Borough to help get you fit and active! The magazine will be delivered to households and businesses across the Borough. If you haven’t received a copy by Monday 28 March, or for further information on receiving the magazine in a different format, please contact the Council’s Communications and PR team on 028 9034 0027.
