Book of Condolence opens for People in Orlando

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor John Scott, has opened a Book of Condolence in Mossley Mill for the people of Orlando following the tragedy on Sunday 12 June. The Mayor will also be opening a Book of Condolence in Antrim Civic Centre on Wednesday 15 June at 2pm.

Speaking about the condolence books the Mayor commented: “I am deeply saddened by the news of the attacks in Orlando. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends affected by this awful tragedy. The Books of Condolence will allow the our community to express their sympathy to those affected.”

The books will be available to sign in the reception areas of Antrim Civic Centre and Mossley Mill from 9am until 5pm, Monday to Friday.
