The Deputy Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Noreen McClelland, officially opened the new High Street Hub today. Five local entrepreneurs are embarking on a trading adventure by setting up shop in the new High Street Hub.
The project, funded by the Council, is giving businesses the opportunity to test trade in Antrim Town Centre. This will present participants with a unique opportunity to evaluate the feasibility within a realistic environment.
The pop up shops are stocking various products to tempt you which includes baby clothing, exclusive women’s clothing and accessories, gifts that can be personalised on site and bespoke arts and crafts. There is even a coffee lounge in the hub so you can take time to sit back and relax.
Commenting at the opening of the High Street Hub, Deputy Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Noreen McClelland said, “We hope that our residents will support this initiative and visit the entrepreneurs to see the products and services they have on offer. Thank you to the Karl Group for the use of these premises as continued economic development is one of the Council’s main priorities and these businesses could potentially become a long term feature within our town centre.”
The High Street Hub is open daily from 10am until 5pm until Friday 23 December.
